Cornucopia, Really entertaining book about a man's journey around the UK trying to find the regional specialities and how food has changed the landscape in some areas. Amazingly I got this for 10p in an end of line basket and was best 10p spent this year!!
Slow Cooker Easy, Sara Lewis, Hamlyn
A new purchase of mine but cannot wait to start, really modern and inpsiring recipes, looking forward to trying the lemon chicken and coconut & lime rice pudding! Have just made the Gingered Beef with Bay and was delicious!
'Baking', published by Star Fire Books:
Really really good, the lemon drizzle cake is just superb and everything so far is yummy!

'I can make you a better Cook' Jamie Oliver, hardback
Nicely laid out and wide choice of simple to more complex dishes, good coverage of techniques. The ragu of tiny meatballs is very tasty and the addition of the lemon zest really contributesnicely to the overall dish

Quite an old stlye of back but has a staggering amount of choice and is beautifully written. Good advice on making the stocks. Some unusual choices as well..
